A grassroots celebration of local makers, growers, curators and creators, the Meandering Markets bring the streets and venues of Port Adelaide to life — right at the doorstep of the historic Port Admiral Hotel. And after a wonderful first year, we’re back and bigger than ever.
First, After Dark: The River Night Walk Night Markets
Before our new season begins, the Port lights up. As part of City of PAE’s River Night Walk, our Meandering Market stalls take over Commercial Road for three magical twilight evenings — Friday 14 to Sunday 16 August, 5–9pm each night.
Festoon-lit stalls, street food, live atmosphere and one-of-a-kind finds under the stars — a night market like the Port has never seen. Wander down, bring the family, and make an evening of it.
Then We Celebrate: A Year of Meandering — Saturday 29 August
It’s our first birthday. After a cracking debut season, the Meandering Markets return for our Season Launch on Saturday 29 August — a special day marking a full year of meandering in the Port, with our biggest line-up of stalls yet and a few surprises to mark the milestone.
The Season Ahead: Last Saturday, Every Month
From our 29 August launch, the markets settle into their rhythm — the last Saturday of every month, right through to the end of May.

The Details
- When: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM on market Saturdays (twilight 5–9pm for the River Night Walk, 14–16 August)
- Where: Port Admiral Hotel & surrounds, 55 Commercial Road, Port Adelaide
- Entry: Free
- At the pub: Open from 10am for breakfast, coffee and lunch — pull up a seat and make a day of it
What’s on Offer
30+ stalls of handmade jewellery, art, crochet, candles, plants, homewares, textiles, wellness and specialty food — a rotating cast of local artisans and small businesses every month.

Local makers, we’d love to have you for the season. River Night Walk night market registrations are now closed, but we’re taking registrations for the full 2026–27 monthly season — starting with our 29 August launch. New makers always welcome. Register your interest via our JotForm.
